BCIT Marine Campus
The BCIT Marine Campus field trip for grade sevens focused on learning about nautical careers and those that support them. While at the campus, students had the opportunity to participate in room-sized simulators, learned how and why to tie different knots, practiced flag signaling, and searched the harbour using binoculars. They saw their principal and vice-principal activate, and then climb into the life raft in the pool at the campus in an exciting and hilarious demonstration. It was a fun day, full of entertainment and learning!
